Ranked #52 of 71 2014 Sémillon from Pokolbin
Palish straw colour; very youthful wine, with dry straw aroma, nettles and dried herbs, and it's a tiny bit stringy on the palate. Yeasty too. Clean, dry, tapered finish. A bit sweet-and-sour.
Drink: 2015 to 2022
94 Points James Halliday
A very different proposition to Eight Acres, with a more lacy and immediately accessible structure, even a hint of tropical fruit, before unsweetened lemon and mineral sashays across the long palate. Drink to 2025.
