Medium red colour with a purple tint. The bouquet offers sweet cherry and tobacco aromas, slightly herbal and seemingly lifted by a twinge of VA (volatile acidity). The palate is appealing, with good intensity of fruit, drive and focus, lively and bright. It's rather tangy, but an appealing wine. It's the prettiest of the '15 Downie trio
