Deepish red/purple colour, with a fragrant spicy aroma, lifted, clean and enticing. The wine is elegant, medium-bodied and intense, its driving, piercing intensity fuelled by rather challenging acidity. Delicious, mouthwatering wine - but some may find the acid on the high side.
