90 Points Robert Parker
Medium garnet colored with a hint of purple, the 2014 D'Arry's Original Shiraz / Grenache offers notes of baked raspberries, warm red currants and aniseed with hints of Sichuan pepper and Chinese five spice. Medium-bodied, soft, plush and seductive in the mouth, it delivers plenty of velvet-lined, berry preserve flavors and a long, spicy finish.

92 Points James Halliday
A wine with a proud history, and one that took grenache out of obscurity for quality table winemaking (not fortified, where it came from). The style is one of juicy fruits, red from the grenache, black from the shiraz. The tannins are supple, and the wine is ready to go. Drink to 2024.
