The 2009 Clos de Vougeot is another striking wine. Red fruit, flowers and spices are some of the many notes that emerge from the glass. The warmth of the vintage has given the tannins an extra dimension of silkiness without robbing the wine of its characteristic energy and drive. There is no shortage of polish here.
