Deep red/purple, bright and glowing colour. The bouquet is earthy, toasty, nutty and savoury, with restrained pepper spice and coal-dusty nuances. The wine is bright and intense, driving and fresh with cherry fruit, bright acidity in balance and firm tannins that persist. A wine that will reward cellaring.
