Huon Hooke
Deepish red colour with faint purple. Earthy, dusty and meaty charcuterie aromas with toasted nut, barrel-aged, but older oak characters. Rich, fruit-sweet, intense and powerful in the mouth, and doesn't rely excessively on oak character. Fruit-sweet middle, rich and dense, fleshy and delicious. An outstanding wine.

95 Points James Halliday
Medium crimson-purple, the hue good, although not particularly deep; a very elegant and refined shiraz that fully lives up to its reputation; fragrant red and black fruits have a garland of spicy oak on the bouquet, a message that is faithfully reproduced on the long, medium-bodied palate. Drink to 2030.
