Medium to light red colour with a tinge of purple in the rim. The aromas are earthy plum and almost beetroot, with some forest undergrowth sub-notes. Sweeter strawberry and red cherry emerged more with airing. The wine is light-bodied and very intense, with red fruit, red licorice and subtle Campari flavours, a wine of real finesse and grace. A really delicious pinot.
