Deepish red colour, slight purple tinge. Vanilla and chocolate tinges of oak on a young wine bouquet. The palate is rich and full-bodied, ample and mouthfilling, with lashings of tannin and seemingly higher alcohol and ripeness than other vintages. Big, powerful, brooding wine which will be long-lived. Rich, concentrated and decadent, with some alcohol heat - which is very unusual for Sally's. Impressive wine.
