Deep, bright purple/red colour with a subtle, perfumed, more fruit-driven aroma within the Penfolds context. Raspberry, red cherry, some darker cherry aromas, fresh and youthful and quite singular. At the lighter end of full-bodied, with lovely fruit purity and elegance. Good length and persistent harmony on the aftertaste. It's all about the fruit this year. A very tidy, indeed gorgeous, wine.
