A pinot of finesse and delicacy that might be easy to overlook in a collection of bigger wines, but perseverance brings rewards. It evolves delightful floral perfumes interwoven with scents of crushed raspberries, plums, foresty notes and subtle barrel influence. It tastes succulent, fresh and plump with a silky feel, real presence and perfectly integrated soft tannins underneath. A wine that gently seduces you and has you searching for a second bottle

Made identically to its full Acre sibling, yet this usually has an added layer; not so much weight, but the texture and tannin are completely different. This is savoury and shapely. Dark spices, cherries, cool autumnal, leafy aromas and chinotto. The palate enjoys some buoyancy as the acidity drives the finish. It has depth and complexity to warrant cellaring, yet makes a compelling argument to drink now. Drink to 2030.
