95 Points James Halliday
Made identically to its full Acre sibling, yet this usually has an added layer; not so much weight, but the texture and tannin are completely different. This is savoury and shapely. Dark spices, cherries, cool autumnal, leafy aromas and chinotto. The palate enjoys some buoyancy as the acidity drives the finish. It has depth and complexity to warrant cellaring, yet makes a compelling argument to drink now. Drink to 2030.
