A beauty from the Clare Valley. Nose shows rubber, blossoms, and lime. In the mouth is where this wine soars, especially if you let it warm in the glass. An explosion of flavours. Lemon, lime, apple, orange rind, spices, a touch of sweetness. Long finish. Bottom line is, I have enjoyed many of the tasting panel wines, but this is the first I have purchased subsequent to trying the tasting bottle. Grabbed 2 just now for the storage account, and am looking forward to seeing how this wine develops in coming years. Apparently mature riesling is a Love It or Hate It proposition. I am firmly in the Love It camp.
