Dark saturated purple. Dusty McLaren nose with sweet fruits, licorice and hints of spice. Very generous fruit on the palate balanced by nicely resolved tannins. This is in a nice drinking window and a good value drink but I had hoped for more interesting secondary characteristics by now.
