This is a pristine bottle which I suspect has been cellared at Cellarit since release. I mention this as i have had several 2002 offerings from the Viking label that revealed significant bottle variation, and had made me somewhat apprehensive about this winery. This wine showed well from the get go. Excellent nose of heady dark fruits balanced with vanilla oak. Very appealing weight with a nice fresh mouth feel and enough acid to make for an excellent food wine....A steal for $15 if the bottle has been correctly stored
