Koltz Shiraz 2002

A bit like Shane Warne

Reviewed by The Innocent Dingo - Thursday 18 August 2011 07:02 PM

Fruit driven wine with lashings of cherry and black fruits. Distinctive McLaren nose but any notes of dust and red earth are dominated by the rich, almost sweet fruit on the palate. Bottle age has definitely helped soften the edges of this modern wine and for $20 no-one could be disappointed. Perhaps lacking a certain sophistication but should appeal to a wide audience. A bit like Shane Warne. Enjoy now.
