The colour is quite deep: a full salmon-pink hue and the nose has very pinoty aromas of poached fruit, quince paste and raspberry shortcake. A concentrated wine. The palate is rich and full with fluffy mousse contributing appealing texture and the finish is clean, dry and balanced for drinkability.

A particularly good value.

The NV Brut Rose Prestige is gorgeous. It shows lovely length and focus in an understated style that is quite appealing. There is tons of depth to the fruit as the wine opens up in the glass. The Rose Prestige can be enjoyed as an aperitif, but it also has enough body to pair beautifully with a wide range of foods. This is a great version of the house’s Rose. This is Lot L1204SZ07700. Disgorged May 2011 (not indicated on label). Anticipated maturity: 2011-2014.

With a pretty, medium-salmon hue, this is a rosé that contrasts a pitch-perfect, fragrant
bouquet of rose petals, red cherries and elegant strawberries, with a palate built on a depth of
roast nuts and toast complexity that belies just three years of bottle age. The result is a subtle
and compelling change of mood for this cuvée, more secondary and more intriguing than ever,
culminating in a finish that coasts in unison, evenly harmonising chalk mineral texture with
fine tannin structure. Taittinger’s aspiration with rosé is structure and a little touch of tannin,
and this blend meets the brief with flair.
